Feasibility Study and Preliminary Service for West Inland Expressway Private Investment Project

The private investment project in the construction of West Inland Expressway (Pyeongtaek~Buyeo~Iksan), which connects a total of 3 provinces and 7 cities and municipalities, with a total length of 138.3km extending from Pyeongtaek in Gyeonggi-do to Iksan in Jeollabuk-do by passing through Asan, Yesan, Hongseong, Cheingyang and Buyeo in Chungcheongnam-do, making it the longest private investment expressway in Korea.
With the opening of the West Inland Expressway, arterial road network that passes through the western inland portion of the country will be established to effectively disperse the traffic load concentrated on the Seohaean Expressway and Gyeonggu Expressway, thereby reducting the cost of distribution and developing the inland regions of Chungcheongnam-do province and Honam region.
