Roy Hill Project is a mega-scale railroad construction project for connecting of the site of mining of iron ores a to Port Headland. It is a Plant EPC project composed of the iron ore processing plant with annual capacity of 55 million tons, railroad with total length of 340km extending from the mine to the Headland, which is the iron ore port, 2 berths for shipping vessels, open-air storage yard, etc. Seoyoung Engineering Co., Ltd. was able to provide assistance in successfully executing the construction management by establishing Web-based 4D process monitoring system and BIM 3D model for each of the PKGs, Design review utilizing 3D model and quantity takeoff using 3D model was performed in the Roy Hill Project.
