Private investment infrastructure projects are implemented through collaboration between the public and private sectors, whereby private entities participate in the financing, development, construction, operation, and maintenance of public facilities such as highways and railways pursuant to governmental policies and regulations. These projects aim to leverage private capital and expertise to supplement limited public funding while promoting innovation and efficiency.
The Private Investment Highway Division of Seoyoung Engineering has extensive expertise and practical experience across the full project lifecycle of privately financed expressway projects, including feasibility studies, project proposals, strategic environmental impact assessments, private investment project reviews, third-party announcements, basic and detailed design, concession agreement negotiation, and implementation plan approval. Beginning with the West Inland Expressway (L = 138.3 km)—the longest privately financed expressway in Korea—the Division has successfully participated in numerous PPP highway projects.
Through this proven track record, we continue to identify and develop creative, sustainable private investment opportunities, delivering technically sound and economically viable transportation infrastructure that contributes to the advancement of national transportation networks and regional development.
