◆ Key Projects
- Daegu National Industrial Complex (Daegu Technopolis)
- After having been designated as a national science and industrial complex by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in September 2009, it is scheduled to be completed in 2018. This industrial complex accommodates companies involved in the future type automobile, advanced machines, next-generation electronic communications and recyclable energy, which are the next-generation growth engine industries of Korea. Moreover, the complex newly forms the industrial axis of the region along with the industrial belt of Nakdong River including the Seongseo Industrial Complexs 1~4 as well as the Seongseo Industrial Complex 5, Dalseong Industrial Complex 1 & 2, Technopolis and Hyeonpoong Industrial Complex, etc. Moreover, the Complex will be established and constructed as green and advanced National Industrial Complex in Daegu that harmonizes the nature and advanced science by converting the industrial structure centered-around the existing textile, general machinery and automobile components into the structure centered-around advanced industries such as intelligent automobile components, embedded S/W and solar power industry through the linkage and cooperation with the large scale industrial estates in the Yeongnam Regions including Gumi (electronics), Masan and Changwon (machine), and Ulsan and Busan (automobile), etc.
